What KAI can propose, automate and leave to you
Follow a business question through its facts, a proposed change and the controls that decide how an eligible action runs.
KAI is most useful when you can follow the answer back to the work it describes. Start with a question about sales, recipes, stock or an outlet. Then inspect the supporting records before deciding what needs to change.
An answer and an action are different
The product computes money figures from recorded data. KAI can help explain the result and prepare a supported proposal; the model does not get a separate route for editing business records.
A proposal uses the same domain action and permission checks as the corresponding product workflow when it runs. The plan, module and role requirements still apply. A persuasive explanation is not permission to bypass them.
Every eligible task starts with proposals
At the propose level, a draft waits for review. Eligible action tasks can earn more autonomy through consecutive unchanged approvals, or receive a level set by the owner. Depending on the action's risk and controls, it can run within a threshold, run with a notification, or run with an audit trail.
This is why “AI never acts” is incomplete, and “AI runs everything” is wrong. Payments, refunds and other high-risk actions are excluded from this autonomy ladder. Medium-risk actions cannot reach its silent level.
Keep the review you need
Owners can pin a task to proposals or another permitted level, or turn autonomy off. A pinned level does not automatically change. Turning autonomy off makes eligible tasks wait for review, but preserves their stored levels; inspect those levels before re-enabling it.
Look at the execution result and trail, not just the conversation. A proposal that cannot pass a permission or validation check has not become a completed business action.
A useful review sequence
- Ask a specific question about the period or outlet you are reviewing.
- Open the records behind an unexpected answer.
- Read the proposed change and any live-stock or price warning.
- Check the applicable action controls and inspect the result after execution.
Waiting suggestions expire after 72 hours. If the business situation has changed, review the current records and request a fresh proposal instead of treating an old draft as current advice.
Check availability before depending on it
AI needs an enabled service and available allowance. Base and advanced capabilities differ, and individual actions can have additional requirements. When the service is unavailable or capped, the product uses its supported fallback states.
See KAI for the product explanation and the suggestion guide for the review workflow. Current allowances and entitlements are on pricing.
